JNC Car Sales LLC ("JNC", "we", "us") sells, sources and rents used vehicles in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. This policy explains what we collect through jnccarsales.com and our text messages, and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you fill out a form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email, address, budget, vehicle preferences, and any notes. For rentals we also collect information needed to screen renters, which may include a photo of your driver's license, a screenshot of your delivery-app account and proof of address. If you ask us for an offer on your car, we collect its details and the photos you upload. Uploaded files are stored privately and are viewable only by JNC staff. We do not collect payment card numbers through this website.

Electronic signatures

If you sign a document on your private status page, we record your typed name, the date and time, your IP address and browser, and a fingerprint of the document you signed, as the record of your signature.

Cookies, ads and how you found us

We note which link, QR code or ad brought you to our site (for example "facebook" or a flyer name) and store it in your browser for 30 days so we know which marketing works. We may use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, to measure visits and form submissions and to show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited our site. Meta may collect information from your browser for this under its own data policy. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings or your browser's privacy settings.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, search for and present vehicles, manage rentals and payments, keep required business records, and, if you opted in, send you text messages.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you check the box to receive texts, we will send messages about your inquiry, vehicle search, rental and payment reminders. If you separately opt in to offers, we may also send occasional promotions and new-inventory alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. We share phone numbers only with the service provider that delivers our messages (Twilio), solely to send them.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to complete your transaction (for example with an auction, transport carrier, the licensed dealer that sells the vehicle, or an insurer you choose), with service providers that host our website and send messages, or when required by law.

Security and retention

Our records are kept in password-protected systems. We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal and tax record-keeping.
